Expert Concrete Resealing and Finishing in Knoxville, TN

Concrete resealing and finishing is one of the most practical ways Knoxville homeowners can protect their driveways, patios, and walkways. Knoxville sits in a transitional winter climate where temperatures can swing above and below freezing within the same day. That freeze-thaw pattern forces water into concrete pores, expands it, and breaks the surface down from the inside out. Tennessee red clay soil and the region's heavy rainfall add to that stress. A fresh seal blocks water intrusion, resists oil and stain penetration, and locks in the color of decorative or stamped finishes. At Masters Touch Outdoor Care, we start with a thorough surface clean to remove dirt, mold, and old sealer residue. We then inspect for surface damage before applying a sealer matched to your specific surface type and exposure level. The result is a clean, protected finish that holds up against East Tennessee's weather. If your concrete looks faded, absorbs water instead of beading it, or shows surface wear, it is time to call us for a free assessment.

Concrete Resealing and Finishing FAQ

Common questions about concrete resealing and finishing in Knoxville, TN.

Pour a small amount of water on the surface. If it soaks in and darkens the concrete instead of beading up, the sealer has worn down and your Knoxville surface needs attention.

Yes, resealing is especially important for stamped and decorative concrete because it prevents color fading and protects the surface pattern. Knoxville homeowners with decorative finishes benefit most from keeping the sealer fresh.

We inspect the surface first and address any damage before applying a new seal. Resealing works best on concrete that is structurally sound, which is why we assess every Knoxville job before we start.

Resealing an older but structurally sound slab is a cost-effective way to extend its life and avoid a full replacement. Many Knoxville homeowners use resealing to get more years out of existing driveways and patios.

We reseal driveways, patios, walkways, and pool decks for residential properties across Knoxville. If you have an outdoor concrete surface that looks worn or weathered, we can assess it.

Clear the surface of furniture, vehicles, and loose debris before we arrive. Masters Touch Outdoor Care handles the cleaning, prep, and sealer application for your Knoxville property.

We love our backyard. It's a paradise and we get so many compliments. Master Touch Pools was a joy to work with. The attention to detail was amazing. The cleanliness, the professionalism, top notch. Junior was amazing as were all of his team. We had an issue come up after the job was done. One of the contractors used to replace our turf nailed into our sprinkler system. I didn't notice until a while later and they had someone at our house within the hour and the system was repaired. They were also kind enough to repair a head that was on the side of the house that wasn't near their job. I couldn't be happier with the level of service given.

After dealing with a frustrating situation for over a year, I cannot say enough good things about Jomar and the team at Master Touch. My pool motor was only two years old when it failed, and I was left stranded by the original company that installed it. They stopped responding to calls and emails and had apparently moved, leaving me with no support and a major headache. From the moment Jomar arrived, he put me at ease. He showed up on time, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. After dealing with so much uncertainty and frustration, it was such a relief to work with someone who genuinely cared and knew exactly what he was doing. Jomar made what had been a very stressful experience feel manageable, and I finally felt like I was in good hands. His expertise and professionalism gave me confidence that the issue would be resolved correctly, and it was. Thank you, Jomar, and everyone at Master Touch, for your outstanding service. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and knowledgeable pool equipment service.

We got a few pool quotes. The prices weren’t that big of a difference but Master Touch started and finished way more pools in the previous year than any of the other companies. We’ve heard horror stories of it taking some people years to finish their pool and we wanted to avoid that fate. They said four months and from the time we got permits issued to the completion of the pool and patio, it took four months almost to the day. They actually did 70% or more in the first two months. Our project manager lacked some communication skills, but he got the project done well and on time. Overall, we highly recommend them. They handled everything, including the permits, and the inside staff responded to our questions pretty regularly during design and build. As for the pool itself, it’s amazing. We’ll definitely get our money back if we ever decide to sell, and while we’re here we’re going to enjoy our new, wonderful pool to the max.

I can’t say enough good things about this pool company! I had a stubborn leak in my pool that no one else could seem to track down, but their team found it quickly and fixed it right the first time. On top of that, they handled a complete renovation of my pool, and the results are absolutely stunning. From start to finish, the crew was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of my property. They walked me through the process, kept me updated at every stage, and delivered exactly what they promised — on time and with top-notch quality. My pool looks brand new, and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a reliable, honest, and highly skilled pool company, look no further. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of pool repairs or renovations!
